Mileage Contractors Contractors are paid for all dispatched miles including authorized deadhead. We also pay the following:
- $.58 per mile dispatched and empty
- All fuel (tractor)
- All licensing
- Fuel and road tax
- All insurance, including bobtail
- Federal heavy vehicle use tax
- Fuel bonus
- Pick-up and Drop Pay
Tarp charge
- No trailer use fee
- Hourly pay scale
Requirements:
Equipment
- A tandem-axle tractor with sleeper
- A 48' or longer flatbed trailer. (Percentage Contractors only).
- 10 binders - 16,000# test; 10 chains, 20 foot long, 3/8" alloy or 5/16" high test; 10 nylon straps; 10 corner irons; and tarps to completely cover full lumber loads and separate tarps to cover steel and machinery.
- Tractors must be equipped with the proper DOT safety equipment, including headache rack, 3 reflective triangles, fire extinguisher and seat belts. A complete safety inspection will be given at our Spokane, WA, Stockton, CA, Bloomington, CA and/or Gary, IN, terminals. Any noted discrepancies must be repaired before a contract is issued.
- Minimum load capacity of 48,000 - 50,000 pounds.
- Maximum truck weight 21,500 pounds.

Percentage Contractors Contractors will be paid 82% of the gross revenue. This will be for a contractor who owns both tractor and trailer.

- 100% Fuel Surcharge
- 100% Tarping
- 100% Demurrage
All contractors and their drivers MUST:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a telephone at their residence
- Have a valid class A CDL with hazardous material endorsement (preferred) from the state in which they reside
