Trans-System, Inc. was founded in 1972 by James "Jim" Williams, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, with one truck and one trailer. Originally founded as Interior Transport, Jim, with the help of dedicated office employees, drivers and owner-operators, has built the company into one of the premier national motor carriers, with over 850 power units and 1,200 trailers in our fleet.
Jim started TSI with a simple philosophy that still holds true today - 30 years after he moved his first load - Treat everyone with the same respect with which he would like to be treated.

TSI's three divisions operate in the continental United States and Canada and are supported by eight national terminals and sales offices. Our corporate office is located in Spokane, WA.
